I’d like to think that this blog is as much about film as it is about me. I have a story and cinema tells stories and sometimes when these stories collide chaos or laughter or sadness or hope ensues. My desire is to use this blog to give collision snap shots. Like crime scene photographs, these don’t tell the whole story, but perhaps you can piece together something of truth that will impact your own story. I also welcome your comments so that our separate stories have a chance to collide.
Oh, by the way, my name is Andy, and it’s nice to meet you.

Hey Andy,
Heard about your site and had to check it out. I didn’t have time to read it from top to bottom but read a couple that interested me. I agreed of most of what you said about Facing the Giants, but man…I really liked it.
Saw a picture of your beautiful little niece on Sunday. Where are all these girls coming from?
Take Care!

Two months without a post. Disappointment.
Hey Andy
I am really enjoying reading your reviews, added you to my blogroll so I can keep checking back to see your updates.
Caz
Hi Caz . . . thanks for taking the time to read my blog and post comments. I appreciate your adding me to your blogroll. I’ve had a chance to also check out your blog . . . you’re a crazy poster (very cool). Keep up the good work!
You = total stud. Just sayin’. Everyone should subscribe to this blog —– it’s THAT GOOD. ; )
Thanks friend. I’m so grateful for your support and encouragement. I wish you and your family well.
What’s it take to get your phone number?
Friend . . . it doesn’t take much (am I trusting guy or what?!). I’ve just emailed you my number. I hope we can talk soon. Peace.
Looking forward to your review of True Grit. I have seen it twice already and am a huge fan of the Coen Brothers!
Well, not sure if/when I’ll get to a review of True Grit, but you should be proud that the Academy has again given recognition to the Coen Brothers in their nomination for Best Director. Much to Christopher Nolan’s chagrin, I might add. Still it is going to be hard to be Hooper or Fincher this year, so the Coens will have to relish their win from a few years ago . . . I have no doubt they’ll win another statue before their career is over!
